let’s celebrate HGTV Magazine debuted in October 2011, and I’m proud to say I’ve been here since day one. In that time, I’ve covered countless trends and learned a lot about makeovers—namely, that the best ones change things up while preserving a space’s good bones. This is what we’ve done at the magazine over the years too. We’ve refreshed our look many times (check out our first cover!), but the foundation has stayed the same: loads of fun, doable ideas. In the hundreds of projects we’ve covered, I’ve also learned that a room is never really done, so we’re going to keep at this! Here’s to 15 years of great tips, and many more to come.
